Inspired by our original pile fleeces of the 1970s and 80s, the classic styling of the Highpile Hooded Jacket is a throwback to the golden age of Himalayan climbing when budgets were small, and ambition was high. Soft and warm, and with excellent stretch and wicking properties, it’s the ideal mid-layer for mountaineers and walkers needing to beat the cold. The high loft fleece, made from 100% recycled post-consumer waste, is soft, stretchy and comfortable against the skin. Designed for cold-weather conditions, it traps heat efficiently and dries quickly, keeping you warm after an uphill climb.

Durable and weatherproof softshell fabric overlays on the shoulders and elbows pay homage to our early fleece styles and reinforce areas vulnerable to abrasion and thinning. Zippered handwarmer pockets help thaw frozen fingers, and the high collar helps seal out the wind on exposed terrain.
